San Marcos 200K Route
In the true spirit of randonnering, this brevet is a lightly supported ride.
The control will probably not be staffed, but there is a mini-mart. The route is
relatively flat and there are services every 15 miles or so but it can be hot and windy
, so make sure you can carry enough food and water for 2 hours of riding.
Also there tends to be a lot of construction between Buda and Lytton Springs. I will
update the route sheet close to the ride date, but even then, things may change. Be
prepared to detour or hike-a-bike if necessary. SAG support will be limited so make
sure to bring spare tubes and tools for light repairs you may need along the way.
The rider check-in will be open 30 minutes before the start time. You must have a helmet to start.
We are always in need of volunteers to provide SAG support and to staff controls (if we
get enough volunteers). If you or anyone you know would like to volunteer, please send
an email to email@example.com.
